The banners are used for making publicity by display for the information of the public. We see various types of banners used for various items and various types of display. Double sided banners are one of the types of banners used for display.

The double sided banners define to be the banners given for publicity on both sides of the banner. In other words, the banner will have the matter for publicity on both front and back sides.

The double sided banner is used for publicity which can be seen from both the sides. The banners displayed across the roads will serve more if the banners have matter on both sides. Because, the people from both sides will have the access to the matter and the double sided banner will not miss anybody in giving the required publicity.

The material used for double sided banner is important. Normally the banners will have matter only one side for which the material used will be of low priced one. The material can be a cloth which may get worn out after sometime due to sun and rain. Not only that it will be a simple cloth, it cannot be used other side for any matter, since the matter of one side can be seen on the other side.

On the other hand, the material used for double sided banner will be stronger enough so that the matter of one side cannot be seen other side. The material so used need not always be a cloth. Even if the cloth is used, it will be of a better quality which can hold painting on both sides and that the matter of one side cannot be seen from the other side.

But, with the improved technology, we have seen that the material used for banner is many a time plastic cloth or laminated cloth which can hold matter on both sides. This type of material will not make one side matter visible from the other side.

The double sided banners are also used in Bus Stands, Railway stations and also Airports. In these places, the reservation charts are normally displayed on double sided banners so that there would not be rush to seen the board on one side only.
