Satin: Satin is a shiny and soft material and can be used for interior applications or short term exterior use only, say for example 3 months. Satin is well suited for point of purchase displays especially in cosmetics, women clothing, lingerie and evening wear. The material is very elegant and is used for premier events like product. Satin serves a good choice for oversized banners with excessive paneling and can be stored by rolling on a tube.

Poplin: Poplin has a flat finish, and finds use in museums and interior applications like satin. The advantages include minimal wrinkling when compared with other fabrics and suited for oversized projects. When a flat and tight look is desired, poplin is the best fabric and even for draping.

Canvas: Canvas has a flat finish and rough look and is used for interior and short term exterior applications. Canvas has a heavy textured fabric and is excellent in point of purchase displays in sporting goods. The disadvantage is that it wrinkles and should be rolled on tubes for storage.

The fabric banners also find use in daily life like any other type of banners.
