Some banners convey the details of events that take place to public. The events may be organized by any one such as institutions, Government, Private Sectors, Personal occasions or a Social Club. They usually contain the details of its activities or events that will take place and want public to know about it.

These banners are available for free for display. This may come free of cost because it may be used for a social service purpose and some companies print this and give to take part in such selfless services. Sometimes these banners may be of hand-written type and therefore comes free.

Or these can be used to set awareness among people on a disease that is about to spread such as ‘Bird Flu’ or ‘Chicken Gunya’ which is now in the news. Also some Clinics and Hospitals display them to inform people that free vaccination is arranged by the Government to take precaution on any disease that may create worries in the minds of people. All these banners are usually prepared to help people to some extent and also in various services like Social work. Therefore they come free.
