We are dealing with a banner called INFORMATION BANNER. The information banner, as the title itself says, is one, which gives information on certain topic. The information banner is made for the purpose of displaying in important places where more publicity can be expected so that more people will have access to the information banner.

Information banner is generally made with information that are useful to the general public and that the public utilize it for their purpose. These information banners carry matters on which the general public have to attend.

One example where the Information banners come useful to the public is that about the tax. As we know the general public have to pay taxes on certain reasons, on which the information banners provide information. In case of professionals, the Income Tax department want them to pay advance tax at the beginning of a financial year. The information banner gives message of the department to the public as to when the advance tax is to be paid and by whom and also before which date.

At the same time, the Income Tax department also displays information banners to convey the message about filing of tax returns by the general public.

Similarly there is information banner displayed by the Sales Tax department also wherein the tax rates on different items are mentioned which are to be complied by the traders in their business.

Further, the Government may display information banner giving information on the developmental works undertaken by the government. In the same way, the departments like Agriculture/Horticulture departments display information banners on the latest methods adopted.

In the above manner, all the departments display the information banner concerned to their department and for the information of the public who are to utilize such information.
