Lettered Banners

Banners of different types are used to display different forms of information to publicity. Lettered banners are a type of banner used to display information quickly and clearly.

The lettered banners may be banners having only text messages for the public without photos or images of anything. Lettered banners are usually made and exhibited for display by the organizations or local bodies for giving certain information to the public and not necessarily for profit.

The lettered banners are not always banners for business promotions. Sometimes one line lettered banners are used for short advertisements. The matter for such one line banner may be to highlight with the words, ‘always use…’, ‘use only…’, ‘… may bring you luck’, etc.

There are also other lettered banners displayed by different departments. The traffic department may display the lettered banner containing the instructions on traffic rules, procedure for obtaining the licenses for different vehicles, etc.

So much so, the health department may also display lettered banner with hints for keeping good health. For example, to avoid epidemic illness, the health department may advise to boil the tap water before drinking it or cooking with it.

The educational institutions also may display lettered banner before beginning of an academic year, announcing the opening of courses and opening admission for different courses, etc.

There are other single lettered banners also. The traffic department fixed the banners in different places with a single letter ‘P’ which allows parking of vehicles in that place. At the same time, the same letter ‘P’ but with a cross on the letter is also displayed by the traffic department to indicate the parking prohibition.
