The permanent banners are used for various purposes. The permanent banners play a role in making propaganda on certain things. For example, in the case of propaganda to ensure polio drops for children, the banners are made, in which case, even though the dates for administration of the polio drops would be over, still the banners stay permanently reminding the people on the importance of the matter for which the banner was made.

There are banners about the coaching classes conducted by certain groups or individuals. These banners stay permanently, even though the academic years pass one after the other, calling fresh students for the coaching. If the banner gets either discolored or the matter gets faded, it is not minded. Sometimes, they may be replaced by the concerned, with the new ones.

There are other types of banners also, which are sometimes made by some of the governmental agencies or autonomous bodies to convey some important messages to the public. For example, the BESCOM (Bangalore Electric Supply Company) could display banners giving advises as to how safety measures should be taken at homes. Also, they advise about how economically the power can be used, and even advising the public about using alternate power like Solar. Banners giving such messages also work as permanent banners.

Further, the Gas Companies also display banners at different places to advice public as to how safety measures are to be taken while using the gas at homes. These kinds of banners also stay permanently, which is useful to the public forever.

The permanent banners are those, which convey messages of permanent nature to the public. At the same time, such message banners cannot be called as one time banners, since they serve the public at every stage.
