Custom Plastic Banners are made of an 8 mil polyethylene which is a shiny plastic material and can be used for temporary outdoor purposes. These plastic banners can be used to announce a new product, promote special events, to advertise sales, to rent real estate, to generate excitement or to attract and motivate customers.

Most companies use 10oz or 13oz vinyl banners but 14oz vinyl banner material can also be used for extra durability. Plastic banners can be printed on high quality, weather resistant plastics and are great for indoor and outdoor use. A simple method of preparing a plastic banner can be explained as below:

First the length and width of the banner is decided. It can longer or shorter. Though it can be different in shape and length, it should not be too different for both practical and aesthetical reasons. Next with the help of a fine marker, the shape of the banner should be drawn on the plastic sheet. Later using a sharp knife, the edges of the banner is cut and the cut sheet is subjected to heat, and is folded into the required shape keeping the shaft side of the banner flat and straight. And then the model is attached to rods and a brass wire will also serve as a shaft. Then the required matter can be painted on this plastic sheet and the banner is ready. The same method can be used to make banners of any shape.

The plastic banners used are usually printed in full color with poly-rope stitched to the top and bottom and air-vents are provided to reduce wind stress. The advantages that can be mentioned are:

• Full color plastic banners get more attention.
• The plastic banners are provided with vents to cut the wind stress and thereby giving it a long lasting ability.
• Light material and can be easier in moving.

The plastic banners like other type of banners also find use and serve the purpose when advertising is to be achieved and the advertising is for a short period of time. In place where the sunshine is strong, these plastic banners will last less than a season.
