Religious banners are used to convey messages according to the occasion. The occasion may be a religious festival or a birthday of the founder. In most cases, religious banners are used to spread the importance of religion and their significance. Each religion is significant in its own ways. Though stress is given on oneness, everyone has some rules that are connected to his/or her religion to follow. Also, there are many important preachings that are connected to each religion and anyone from any religion can follow this if he/she finds any truth in that. It is not mandatory for one who reads the matter on these religious banners to follow it.

If understood properly and when one goes into the depth of the preachings, it is seen that the information is same but the way it is put is different. All preachings explain non-violence, love, understanding, and many more but in a different way. Therefore these religious banners find use in almost all religion. Only the occasion may change.

In some cases, religious banners carry an image of the founder whom people of that particular religion consider as a Holy person. These religious banners are prepared according to the category of the religion and the type of matter it has to reach people. It can also be said that religious banners can be both temporary and permanent as some use them only during the occasion and many use them in their houses forever.
