We now refer to the temporary banners. The temporary banners, as the name itself says, are made for a temporary purpose. For example, the reputed shops or marketers display a banner conveying the message of a reduction sale or stock clearance sale. This type of banner moves the people to rush for purchases hoping to get things at economical prices.

There is another type of temporary banner, which is meant to convey about opening of a new shop. This may be for any type of shop. It could be grocery, jewelry, or any consumer items. The banners are displayed in different areas to attract customers. Similarly, there could be banner displayed only at a particular shop with words ‘opening shortly’ without any specific message.

There are also banners to intimate the public about shifting of a particular shop or office.

The temporary banners are also made for ‘exchange offers’ where they offer exchange of old materials to new materials. It could be silk sarees, electronic items, etc.

There would be temporary banners whenever an exhibition is held. This could be a general exhibition of a routine nature, rare collections, paintings, antiques, etc.

Though the cinema banners are very regular and permanent, it is still a temporary banner as far as it tells about a particular movie. Such banners lose its weight and value immediately the movie is released in theatres or till it runs for a couple of days. Therefore, they are still temporary banners.

Further, there are banners, which are made and displayed to convey about a general gathering for a particular purpose. It could be for a variety entertainment or a public meeting of dignitaries or conducting anniversary, etc.
